Currently International Consultant for the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA), the leading trade association for Canada's $6 billion dollar TV, feature film, and digital media industry, she is also Head of Studies for Trans Atlantic Partners (TAP), a senior international co-production training program run by Germany's Erich Pommer Institut, the American IFP (Independent Filmmaker Project), and the CMPA. Jan continues to expand her outreach and market intelligence by offering her Pitching and Content Development workshops globally - Cuba, Poland, Germany, France, Columbia, China, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, an expanding list of prestigious international engagements.
The length and style of each workshop is designed to meet the needs and parameters of client organizations. She also offers consultation sessions via phone and skype.
Jan LOVES to teach. She loves working with producers, directors and writers to mine their ideas and help refine their stories and themes until the pitch become effortless and clear.
Although her preference is for the intimacy and effectiveness of smaller workshops, she occasionally offers large introductory interactive workshops.
